Payam Fallah Ph.D.
Payam Fallah Ph.D. is the senior mycologist and laboratory director of IDEHL®. He has more than 15 years experience in plant pathology, mycology, and indoor air quality investigation.
Dr. Fallah received a master’s degree in plant pathology and a PhD in mycology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was a post doctoral fellow at the Systematic Botany and Mycology Laboratory (SBML, USDA) in Beltsville, MD, where he worked on systematics of the genus Trichoderma.
Dr. Fallah has published more than 20 scientific articles related to mycology, plant pathology, and indoor air quality and has given numerous seminars and lectures on mycology and indoor air quality. Dr. Fallah has served as a mold expert in several legal cases.
Dr. Fallah is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), ASTM International, Pan American Aerobiology Association, Mycological Society of America, British Mycological Society, and Mycological Society of Japan. He currently serves in the AIHA publication committee.
